Finance now available on all new roofingA Family-Run Roofing Company in Reading
Wise Roofing has been keeping roofs over the heads of Reading families and businesses for more than 25 years. We are a small, locally owned team, not a national brand operating through subcontractors, and every job is supervised directly by owner Rob Wise. Our base at Quadrant House, Broad Street Mall in central Reading means we can be on site quickly anywhere in the RG postcode.
Our Approach to Roofing
We aim to give Reading homeowners the kind of straightforward, honest roofing service that used to be standard in the trade. That means free written quotes, fixed prices agreed before work starts, great value for money, no door-knocking, no pressure, and a clear scope of work before we lift a single tile. Where a repair will do, we do not push for a replacement; where a replacement is the right answer, we explain why.

What our customers say
Soffit and valley repairs
Very prompt to organise a primary visit. We needed an area of soffit removed and replaced, which had rotted due to 2 split valleys in the roof. Rob took time to check the general condition of the roof and was satisfied that no other work was required. It is refreshing to deal with a company that seems genuine and is not pushy. Rob, very quickly let us know the cost and the work was carried out efficiently, swiftly and courteously. Awarded a 9 for workmanship as job too high to check over but Rob took before/after photos which sufficed. Would recommend and definitely use again.
Repair to bay window facia
Robert responded immediately to my contacting him and organised a visit. He attended on time and was quick to recognise the problem and recommend what work needed to be done. He explained exactly what the work involved. He was able to fix the fascia boards back in, had all the tools and staff available to do it immediately, which we were really pleased about. He even spotted a loose tile and repaired it whilst doing the other job. Knows his trade well and work guaranteed. A genuine and honest tradesperson, competitively priced. Highly recommended to neighbours, friends and family.
Chimney and roof repairs
We had a leaking chimney following a period of heavy rain. Robert was brilliant and came quickly to assess the problem, then returned with a team who got the job done with minimal disruption. Would highly recommend.
