When you start to think about having some building work carried out on your property probably the last thing you think about is whether your home is also home to bats!
The Bat Conservation Trust have branches throughout the UK and can give practical advice on what to do if you believe bats are inhabiting your property.
Bats are a protected species and some are very rare. If bats are discovered on your property you are legally obliged to accommodate their habitat. If you are replacing or erecting a new roof it is best to consider employing a professional, experienced roofing company such as R G Wise Roofing who will have encountered resident bats many times and will be able to take the necessary steps to protect them.
